Best Gift 2010?? or Great Date, But...

Last year wifey and I decided that the best purchase of 2009 was our griddle. It’s perfect for breakfast food such french toast, eggs, and pancakes as well as the ultimate lunch item…a grilled cheese sandwich. I have no idea what our best purchase of 2010 will be, but there’s an early frontrunner for the best gift of 2010. The gift came from my mom and got it’s first use after a week of a tweaked back I plan on never having again. I’ve done a little kick boxing in the past but am not real experienced with the heavy bag. All I did yesterday was punch as hard as I could (without hurting myself of course) for as long as I can. I’m on the lookout for some good boxing workouts.

Saturday night The Mr. and I stepped out on a date. With all the snow and bitter temperatures stepping out hadn’t seemed too appealing. We both had a craving for sushi and luckily for us happy hour at Blue Sushi and Sake Grill cured us. We dined and had a massively excessive dessert that was delicious. The only down side of our date night was how incredibly busy the restaurant was that night. We ended up sitting next to a wall in the line of traffic toward the restroom…not so great, but when your sitting across from the man of your dreams all that seems insignificant. Next time we will probably opt for non-happy hour to have a little less chaos. Check out some of the photos of the yummy food/dessert.
