After the release of Google’s new phone, the Nexus One, I still consider myself an iPhone loyalist (how can I not when wifey and I created a fantastic App?). Mostly, it’s the spectacular voice-enabled keyboard that has my mouth watering. The “superphone” (title given by Google) boasts a better camera, video, and application multitasking than the iPhone. Apple may be changing the mobile device game in three weeks when it will presumably introduce their newest creation on January 27th.
Technology truly excites me, and I’m already imagining useful ways to apply these new devices. More technology news has been recently released such as ESPN in 3D. My thoughts? I’m not impressed. Let me know when I can watch sports as a hologram on a coffee table in my living room. Now that would be sweet. My final piece of technology news is the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. I’m adding the CES to my list of lifetime need-to-attend events.
If there is any new technology that excites you let me know by posting below, emailing me (he@hsssblog.com) or on Twitter (He_HSSSblog.com).
I experienced this first hand today. I spent some time hanging out with an older friend today. We sat around shooting the breeze, watching t.v., and laughing. I had a nice time. Then I had a sad thought when I was leaving. I get to go home to my husband while my friend’s spouse passed away. He now spends most of his days alone. I have no clue what it is like to be lonely and elderly, but I know one thing, life comes full circle. It is inevitable to age…(yes, I have to embrace the reality that my super hotness will fade and I too will be elderly one day, still hot but in a mature kind of way). This is why I must spend more time with older family and friends because I pray when I am in that position I will enjoy people who spend lots of time with me. In the meantime, I’ll appreciate everyday I have with The Mr. and my family. I hope you do to.
P.S. Love you, Grandmas
