One For Me, One For Her or Drop Some Hints

Forget dogs. Gadgets are a man’s best friend. For example, I used to be one of those guys that struggled with directions. Even if I’d already been somewhere once or twice I was still liable to get lost. That’s no longer the case as I can maneuver myself anywhere with an iPhone or a GPS. My latest interest is Apple TV. I know it’s taken some hits with reviews, but I like the idea of watching what I want when I want it with ease (and not paying the monthly cable bill). eWeek.com has a list of other great gadgets for guys. I’m not sure if I’ll get one of these cool gadgets sooner or later. Either way, my philosophy with gifts like these are this: one for me, one for her.

I can appreciate technology, especially when it makes life easier or just pretty cool. In fact, I’m hoping to make a LCD TV purchase in 2010…if The Mr. is with me. Harper’s Bazaar features 13 High-Tech Gifts For Women. It’s a pretty cool list. Here are my top two: iDesign Cube Clock Radio for iPod and the Mobile Phone Retro Handset. The clock is a trendy way to wake up. The retro handset definitely speaks to my vintage side. Check out the slide with your Mr., and maybe you can drop some hints when you find your fav. I mean the holiday season is coming soon. Why not get something you actually would enjoy.
Gadgets are cool, but what about tools! I want some cool tools. I like gadgets and tools that make life easier. It’s funny how we move from J’s to tools and gadgets. Got to love getting older. - Jen Haha (ok it was Josh)
