Teamwork (or) Perfect Ending

Teamwork or Perfect Ending

Some things may not mean a lot to other people but if it’s important to you that’s all that matters. You may be confused by this graph, but it represents the completion of my first medical research paper. Like many things in life, I started the project clueless but became in expert by the time I was complete. In the year and a half Brittany and I have been married I’ve learned that you hardly ever accomplish anything by yourself…it takes teamwork. This was my research project but the support and encouragement from wifey helped me get it done (and on time!).

*One take home message from my research project is consider vitamin D supplementation as it protects against osteoporosis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, etc.

I wasn’t sure what to expect in going to our first medical related event. It was a banquet for the Nebraska Medical Association and among all the hoopla Pierce and other students received awards for their summer research endeavors. My first highlight of the night was the surprise of a vegetarian dinner option! We sat with nice people and enjoyed entertaining conversations. We ducked out early and headed to one of our favorite intimate restaurants for dessert. Getting all dressed up and being slightly out of my element was totally worth it when it ended like it did.

I’m so proud of Pierce. He dominated his project and is already working on the next…show off!

Come on!

It's fun. And free.

Teamwork is essential in marriage. Glad to know that the two of you learned this early in your marriage.
