A Good Night’s Rest or Got Sleep?
Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

We spend a lot of time doing it (or trying to avoid it), but do we spend enough time considering the importance of sleep? Among all the other things that sleep deprivation can negatively affect, new research out of the University of Arizona shows that the quality of a couple’s relationship and the quality of their sleep are closely linked. Not getting enough sleep gave couples more negative feelings about their relationship. In addition, negative feelings about their relationship caused couples to get less sleep. The combination can cause a couple to enter a vicious cycle that leads straight to an unhappy marriage!
