Weekend Challenge #6 or A Trip Down Memory Lane
Friday, August 7th, 2009
John Hughes was the man behind many classic 80’s and 90’s films. He was a legend behind the camera and in his personal life. Hughes was in the marriage Hall of Fame as he and his wife Nancy were married for almost 40 years! Hughes became more of a private man in the mid 1990’s and steered clear of the public eye. He will be greatly missed by colleagues and fans of his work. Rest in peace John Hughes (February 18, 1950-August 6, 2009). Click here for a list of Hughes films.
This weekend we’d like to take you back. In memory of the late John Hughes we encourage you and your spouse to find your favorite Hughes classics and have a movie marathon. I am embarrassed to admit that I have never watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off from start to finish. My husband about fell out on our kitchen floor when I told him this. Thankfully, he didn’t hurt himself and now this will be the first movie on our “Now Showing” list. So pop some corn and dim the lights for this Weekend Challenge. All you and your spouse have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. As always have a safe and happy weekend.
